All of their gadgets are 100% free for use.

Out of all the gadgets on their website I like the network meter the most.

How To: Do You Want Your Android Phone To Talk To You?

Actually an Android smart phone doesn’t speak by default.

But there is an app that will read and speak what’s inside your phone,
if you select it to do so. And it is, Shouter.
Shouter is amazing. Shouter Pro has so much to offer in an Android app.

I especially enjoy the part where you can have a Shouter Widget on your screen.
The widget sits right there on your screen for easy disabling and enabling.
In other words, turn shouter on or off.

I put together some screenshots from my phone to help serve as a guide in case you would like to use them a reverence resource. (Check them out below)

It’s totally possible to take 30 minute’s out of the evening and tinker around with Shouter.
Have shouter tell you the time.
Shouter can set/read any reminders you have.
It can tell you if the battery is low.
And perhaps the best section, shouter can read the notifications from apps.
Like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, and many more .

With shouter you can set your own text for reading SMS message’s.
Shouter will read custom text from incoming calls.

And in certain notification sounds set by the phone shouter works well right along side.

Shouter is safe from any un-wanted content (malware, spying, etc.) -but- if you would want to consider if shouter has a bit of a privacy issue, one could say shouter log’s all the incoming notifications. However, you can remove the logs and disable logging. Please keep in my logging is on by default, (default – set to on automatically).

By using the link to Shouter over at Google Play (here) you can learn more about the app,
and or install shouter. Provided your phone is connected to a computer.
You can also just install Shouter from Google Play Store that’s on the phone.
Installing it from there is the best way.

I believe its possible one could get annoyed with shouter after a long day.

One thing for sure, shouter is very useful when you’re driving home from work and the peeps are trying to reach you even though you just happen to be the safest driver on the road and don’t use the smart phone while driving. Hearing the content of the notification without thinking about picking up the phone you can relax and take the time to prepare one’s thought’s before engaging into a follow-up.

I’ve been using Shouter for almost two years now, and have never had any extreme issue’s with the app crashing. Once there was a bug. After an update shouter didn’t reconnect to the selected apps I had set. So I had to uncheck them all and redo. Then shouter updated from the Google Play Store to fix the bug. The current version in release is very stable and I suggest using the software. If you’re a work horse then shouter just might be the smart phone app you need for better office productivity.

There’s only one way to find out if shouter is for you.
Give it a try, if you don’t like having the phone talk to you, then just un-install it.

I rate Shouter with 5 Stars – Think Twitter and POTUS – Shouter is good for Working in the field, while in the Office, sitting at home, in the gym , and if you’re away just soaking up the ray’s. You might want to turn shouter off if you’re on the beach.

By taping on each section is where you can set the many options shouter gives you. At the silent hours option you can choose the hours you want shouter to be silent. The notification section allows you to pick which apps you want shouter to read. Call, Message, and Time allows you to create a custom text, thus reading the custom text setting notifications.

Here’s where you select the apps you want shouter to read and shout, so your phone talks to you. Being able to hear my phone tell me what’s happening in real time is like a normal commodity now. If it suddenly disappeared I would be left wondering what happened.

Shouter Logging

Here we can find the logging shouter can do and does by default. So if you don’t want shouter to log your apps notifications you’re gonna want to go to that section and disable logging. I have shouter saying, “please acknowledge. incoming data. displaying. The rest shouter handles.

If you have any questions I would be glad to answer them, provided I’m able to do so.
Please allow for a timely response.

Now We Can Have A More Private DNS – Cloudflare has launched the internet’s fastest, privacy-first DNS service, 1.1.1.1

With a cell phone hotspot to computer desktop I already connected and dis-connected from this new DNS service, everything worked as it should have, except rainmeter weather. The web parser.dll was confused. I know this a vague description. I haven’t compiled all my data yet. I just wanted to get this out to you if you happen to follow Cloudflare’s directions on their website. That information can be found by scrolling down the web page. Use the link below to head on over there.

How To Build Windows Software Without Any Coding Knowledge

Actually as you explore this program I’m going to tell you about, you will realize you will have to learn how to use and write computer code. But, this program has enough in it to help you along that road of learning how to build Windows software and coding.

I began using this program back in 2009. The one and only software program I built with it is, Wintrol 5.1.

Wintrol 5 Windows Control Panel Utility +
Wintrol 5 Windows Control Panel Utility +

I’m not here to tell you what Wintrol does, if you want to know about Wintrol you can visit the Wintrol page and download it from here.

I really do love this Windows software program builder.
Neosoftware really has something on the competition.

The NeoBook Rapid Application Builder version 5.8.7 isn’t free, it will set you back $149.00 (USD), there’s a free trial version if you just want to try it first.

With NeoBook Rapid Application Builder, “even inexperienced users can quickly combine combine text, pictures, sound, video, Flash animation, HTML content, Internet links, databases, special effects and other elements to create interactive, professional software programs.”

neobook/software
NeoBook Rapid Application Builder version 5.8.7

“Completed NeoBook projects can be compiled into a compact, self-contained Windows application (exe) or screen saver (scr) for easy distribution. No players, special drivers, licenses or additional software are required to view compiled applications. NeoBook created applications look and act just like real Windows programs, so no one need know that you didn’t toil for years learning Java or C++.”

The System Requirements for NeoBook are as follows:

Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10 (32/64-bit). A hard disk with 20 MB free space. Mouse or other Windows-supported pointing device. Windows-supported sound card (optional)

Apps created with NeoBook will run under:
Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10 (32/64-bit).

“NeoBook works with a series of plug-ins, the plug-ins are specially designed components that can be installed along with NeoBook to provide additional functions not found in the basic program. Properly designed plug-ins are extremely fast and their use virtually transparent. Once installed, plug-in functions appear in NeoBook’s Select an Action list along with the program’s native commands.”

Alexander of France is quoted saying, “I studied Neobook at school when I was 15 and then I bought it. Now I am 19 and I work every day on it and I earn money with Neobook. According to me, Neobook is more than a software, it is a DREAM, it is the best developing software over the world!”

All that talk from technology website’s and all the “How To Learn Computer Code”, how to’s out there have nothing on this program. NeoBook is where you want to start learning how to build computer software.

Check it out here if you want to know more or grab a copy to download.

What Is Mouse Without Borders?

Well I can tell you what it’s not ;
It’s not a mouse that runs around the world healing other mice in war-torn nations.

Mouse without borders (MWB) is a little software program built by Microsoft so a computer user can have two computers running separately -but- with one mouse and one keyboard controlling both. Once you experience it, you’ll wonder how you got along without it for so long.

As far as I can tell this little -but- tuff program has been out since the early 2000’s, and its talked about very little since then. The program doesn’t appear to need any improvements and or bug fixes. Its perfect just as it is.

Here’s what it does: First you have to install it onto both computers at the same time.
(make sure you’re connected to the Internet)
-mouse without borders works with a smartphone’s hotspot connection as well-

Once installed follow the instructions, the last step you enter a security code and the computer name you want to share the keyboard and mouse with.
From your secondary computer close that window.
Now from the system tray find (MWB) right-click on it, choose setting’s, a window will pop up with the security code you need. From your main computer enter that code, if the computer name isn’t correct on each computer MWB will not connect.
Click apply, and close the window.
That’s it, you should now be able to move your mouse from one computer to the other, and share the clipboard between the two, plus share the keyboard.

The setup process isn’t really that hard. Just keep trying if you miss the connection the first time. I love this program.

Here’s how to get your copy of Mouse Without Borders.
Or try this direct download link.

Facebook is going to let publishers start charging readers to view stories.

I consider this to be “BAD NEWS” for those of us that are struggling to make a living in this ever increasing world of stupidity. This new service will affect every user of the Facebook platform.

“The social network has started briefing publishers on the forthcoming subscription service and hopes to start testing it by October, according to a person familiar with the matter. – Facebook is currently telling publishers they’ll be able to show at least 10 free articles per month before the paywall kicks in.”

Source link is at the end of this article, for more about this breaking news.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not always the sharper tool in the shed -but- if I’m understanding this correctly, if you want to go to a link of a media outlet (TV media, on-line Newspaper) you will have to pay a fee. This is bad news.

Or if I’m understanding this as – since I have two website’s (www.thinkr8.comwww.amerispheresoftware.wordpress.com) and two Fb page’s linking to those websites, and you the reader here in Fb see my post from any one of my Fb page’s and want to link to the website article, you’ll have to pay a fee to me. And if that’s the case, then “Great” I would start to make on-line money. Cause as it stands now, you don’t (yes, some have, thank you) support my on-line endeavor’s. Having said that, if the latter is correct then I’m all for the up and coming new subscription service.

Another funny thing I noticed about this news – I googled it, and there were no links to any tech sites, (Tech Crunch, PCWorld, C|Net, Computerworld, etc.) only local tv station across the states. Weird, very weird.
